I love primary colors and dancing so to me it makes sense that my fashion icons are the little kids from Yo Gabba Gabba. Yes, the hit children’s show that hipsters without kids hate and the children of hipster’s love. I do not have kids and I haven’t actually watched an episode of YGG in over a year since I canceled cable and realized Netflix is now streaming episodes of She-Ra. However, I am still contemplating sewing Muno’s face onto the jumper I bought from the thrift store last week.
Why not just buy YGG merch? It’s not the same. I don’t want a t-shirt with DJ Lance Rock on it or a hoodie displaying all of the characters grouped together. I want a shirt like Nathaniel’s but they don’t make them in my size. I’ve looked.
Thus, the only thing left for me to do is break out the sewing machine and make my own YGG inspired clothing. If you want your own Yo Gabba Gabba shirt or jumper, let me know. I’m sick of little kids getting all of the best clothes.
PS. Vans does have a series of Yo Gabba Gabba shoes. I will most likely end up with a pair. I just can’t decide between Brobee and Muno. Adult decisions
